There has been numerous comments on our site regarding “how to
install Android on Samsung wave 2″. At last we have answer to that
thanks to Rebellos and Oleg and Other developers involved in creating
drivers and testing and TrooperFX a user on our site who reported that
first. Now you can install CM10 (CyanogenMod 10) rom on your wave 2
devices its an alpha version but its usable. Modem is not working but
that will be fixed soon as said by the xda-developers working on this
project.
This version is for enthusiast not for those people who keep
What Works and what not:
Accelerometer works
Modem Does not work.(That means no calling,messaging,etc.)
SD card and wifi don’t work.(fixes soon)
USB not work
LCD work patialy
Installing CM10(Android) on Samsung Wave 2:
1.Download Andoid rom(system,zimage,data) and extract anywhere on pc

2.Download cache_data and also extract anywhere on pc

3.Download fota and flash your phone with it

4.Then copy system,zimage,data and cache to phone memory in root that is in main directory.(390MB)
5.Switch off your phone and try to booting android with Call+End Call buttons combinations for 7-8 seconds.It will boot android

FAQ:
–>Only getting black display.
Remove Battery and Insert again then try to boot and it will work.If
not Then If you flash given fota and bootfiles and also copy Rom files
to phone memory then Test it again.
–>Battery backup decreasing on bada after using android.
It can destroy your battery calibration or even damage something during prolonged usage! You had been warned.this can be avoided by reducing time of connection to USB when Badadroid is running there.
